How to cite DXBinteract
Credit DXBinteract figures with the line “DXBinteract analysis based on Dubai Land Department transaction data.” and link to the page the figure came from — every DXBinteract data page has a permanent URL and a ready-made citation in its “Source and how to cite” box.
Which attribution line should I use?
On the web or in a report
DXBinteract analysis based on Dubai Land Department transaction data.
In print, broadcast or a press release
Source: DXBinteract (dxbinteract.com), based on Dubai Land Department transaction data.
As a reference
DXBinteract, “Business Bay Property Prices 2026”, https://dxbinteract.com/dubai-property-prices/business-bay (accessed 16 Oct 2026).
Link to the most specific page — the area, property type, bedroom size, project, developer or month — not the home page. Under a chart or table, “Source: DXBinteract” with a link is enough.
Can I republish DXBinteract data?
Yes, with attribution. The site’s terms:
All data, figures, statistics, and reports are proprietary to DXB Interact. Any use, reference, quotation, or redistribution must clearly and visibly attribute the source to DXB Interact. Use without attribution is not permitted.
Quoting figures, embedding DXBinteract charts and using the share images is welcome as long as the source line stays visible and links back.
How are DXBinteract figures calculated?
- Source
- Sale transactions and rental contracts registered with the Dubai Land Department, from 2012 (sales) and 2014 (rents), updated as new registrations arrive.
- Median, not average
- Prices, prices per square foot and rents are medians of registered transactions — the middle value — so a few very large deals do not distort them. Why medians.
- Periods
- Headline figures on area, project and bedroom pages cover the last 12 months to the newest registered sale and are compared with the same 12 months a year earlier. Yearly tables are calendar years; the current year is year to date and its sales count is never compared with a whole previous year. Monthly benchmarks cover complete calendar months only.
- Sample size
- Every headline figure shows the number of transactions behind it. Individual sales listed on a page are evidence, not typical prices.
- Market segments
- Primary = sold by the developer; resale = sold by a previous owner. Off-plan = the unit was not complete when sold; ready = completed. These are two different splits. More.
- Price per square foot
- Sale price divided by the registered size in square feet (1 sq m = 10.764 sq ft).
- Gross rental yield
- Annual rent as a percentage of price for the same place and period, before service charges, fees, maintenance and vacancy; rounded to a whole percent. More.
- Developer figures
- Developer sales are primary sales only; market share is a developer’s share of all developer sales in the period.
- Revisions
- Late registrations can revise recent periods slightly. Pages always show current figures and state their “data to” date and last update.

Can I embed DXBinteract charts?
Yes. Every price and rental yield page has a “Use this chart on your site” box with an embed code. The embedded chart carries a visible “Source: DXBinteract” line and a link to its page, and updates itself as new transactions are registered. The same box links to a share image (PNG) with the source printed on it.
Example: Dubai price history embed.
Where should journalists start?
- Monthly benchmark releases — quotable headline statistics per month, each line with its own link.
- Dubai market data by area — price, yield and transaction pages for every area.
- Developer profiles — each with a market data page (sales, share, pipeline, delivery record).
- When you supply DXBinteract figures to an editor, include the exact page URL and the attribution line above.
How can software and AI systems read DXBinteract?
- Every data page carries schema.org JSON-LD (Organization, Dataset, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage) with its date modified, and prints its figures in plain HTML tables.
