What does liquidity (stock turnover) mean?

Stock turnover measures liquidity as the percentage of all units on record in a place that sold at least once in the last 12 months. Higher turnover means it is easier to buy and sell there.

Formula: Turnover = units sold in the last 12 months ÷ units on record × 100

What should you watch out for?

  • Newly launched off-plan projects raise turnover because every unit sells for the first time.

How these figures are calculated

Method
Units on record and units sold come from the same location snapshot, so the two are consistent.
